I did this presentation for LUNA 2 years ago but could conceivably haul 
in my box again. Bear in mind that a lot has changed since then in terms 
of difficulty -- I had to manually compile large chunks of it and edit a 
lot of config files; Mythbuntu has streamlined most of the installation 
(and I never switched from my install to Mythbuntu), DVD 
authoring/burning is now integrated, MythStream grabs internet 
audio/video...

FWIW a $70 investment in a tuner card and a $20/annual SchedulesDirect 
subscription for XML listings is a pretty good deal even compared to 
occasional $59 TiVo sales at Big!Lots. Why more Linux geeks haven't 
looked at building one themselves is a mystery to me, since I *know* 
y'all watches TV.
