Last week I found this article on linux.com <http://www.linux.com/> called "Do
we still need LUGs? <http://www.linux.com/feature/118046>". The summary of
the article explains how the dynamics of the LUG has changed as Linux has
grown. One point the article focuses on is that many groups have seen a
decline in monthly attendance but an increase in email list activity. My
question for you as a group is, should we try and focus less on monthly
meetings and more on other interactions like email, IRC and forums? I
wonder if other interactions will allow us to still be more of a group
without over extending our current commitments? Should we keep plugging
away at monthly group meetings?
