I'm an old timer, I wasn't quite around at the founding originally, but I
was involved early on. I've got to echo Curtis here and also point out
that while there may not be a large physical presence, there are definitely
still people who take part in the discussions from afar via this very
medium.

I can't make meetings because I had to move to the valley to find work. I
may post infrequently, but it's not from a lack of caring, nor from a lack
of desire. I'd be at every meeting if I were still living up there, and
would take a very active role. I think most of the people who are "old
timers" would do the same, but almost all of them that I know don't live
anywhere close to Flag anymore.

I'll make no bones about the fact that I'm a microsith bigot, and I don't
see a lot of their products being in my future except for in my work
place, and then only minimally. if the Redmond viral transmitter wants to
go more F/OSS, I may reconsider my standpoint, but to expand LUNA to cover
topics related to their products would cheapen the value of LUNA to me.

My $.02
