LUNA Group,
Well we certainly have gotten plenty of responses lately. It is great to
see the mailing list this active. I wish it would continue. I personally
think the direction of the group should be controlled by the current active
"members". Most of the current "members" have stated that they would like
to see more options. The past "members" seem to be repeating keep it the
same.
This is why Kyle asked if anyone would be able to make a luncheon next
week. It would be a good time for us to get together for an hour and throw
out some ideas in person faster than we could online. I am in no way trying
to make a decision for this group or represent its needs. I am trying to
facilitate some communications to help us decide if we should change and if
so what. If we all decide no change then so be it. At least we have put
some fresh energy into the groups meaning.
So if you are interested in being involved in the groups direction, try and
attend the meeting. If you can't make it then let us know. Maybe someone
will take minutes at the luncheon and post them so you can communicate your
thoughts about it. The minutes should be posted on our forums.
I informally suggest Wednesday (11-01-2006) at 12:00 and Fratili Pizza on
4th street. Please reply if that date works for you or not. If we have a
lot of nots then we can make a new date and or location.
