[Luna] Help installing film editing software

Hi Carolyn,

Last night I got Cinelerra up and running on SuSE 10.1 Pro -- I found all the dependencies I needed in the distro to get at least a bare minimum configuration going and have it make without errors. It took me a couple tries to find all the problems output by configure and get the right packages installed, but it was do-able. I launched the app but didn't play with it, so whether all the hardware stuff (firewire, soundcard, etc.) and other fancy goodies work I can't say.

I'm leaving in a couple hours and will be back on Monday. If you're still having problems next week, maybe we can meet up here one night after work (any night but Wednesday), beat on Cinelerra, and grab some dinner at Brandy's or something while it's building.
