[Luna] Install Fest - NAU Details

Hi Shane,
        Good to hear.  I hadn't even thought of the idea of showing the 
specs of the box.  We should be receiving some Ubuntu cds (from Ubuntu) 
soon, but they might not make it here in time...
        We do need still need fliers.  Sorry I didn't call you about that 
earlier.  I just found out today, that NAU will allow us to put up 8.5 x 
11 " fliers only.  We could probably get away with a poster on the door to 
the conference room, but not anywhere else in the Union.  I'll contact you 
tomorrow about a single poster (in the mean time, please email me an AEC 
logo to slap on).
        We might need some cables on Saturday, but those can just be made 
there if that is the case.

I will be available for Saturday's Linux Tent Revival ;-).  I will make 
some Ubuntu CD's to hand out.  I would be happy to make cables on Saturday 
if that is not too late.  My demo laptop is setup and ready.  I will make 
a printout of the specs of the machine so they can see what it is running 
on for comparison. 

Do you still need fliers printed for the event?  We could print them out 
possibly for free.  Let me know.

We now have confirmed space at NAU for this Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. 
Our install fest will be in the Havasupai room, upstairs on the west side 
of the union.  As a reminder, please bring blank cds and dvds, along with 
a copy of Ubuntu, Suse, and Fedora if you have one.  I haven't yet 
received the box of Ubuntu cds, so we may have to burn them as needed. 
Also, if you agreed to bring a demo box or networking equipment...  Please 
rsvp so I know who we can expect to see on Saturday. 
We need to wander the halls of the dorms to pass out the lan cables. 
Margaret and I haven't had a chance to make them yet, but hope to very 
soon.  Any volunteers for the task of handing them out?
